A man was discovered lifeless in a grassy area of Barangay Alangilan, Bacolod City on the morning of June 9, sparking an ongoing police investigation.

According to Brigada News PH, the victim was identified only as "Christian," a resident of Barangay Estefania. 

His body was found by a local, Ramiro Regalado, who initially mistook the figure for discarded garbage. Police Major Mark Joel Reklamado, commander of Police Station 5, confirmed that the victim's mouth was covered, suggesting foul play. 

Further raising suspicions was a cardboard sign found beside the body.
