NAGALIT?
Pares vendor and internet celebrity Deo Balbuena, a.k.a. Diwata, was disappointed when the Vendor’s party list failed to get a seat in Congress.
According to the latest results from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) data, Vendor’s party list, on which Diwata was also the fourth nominee, only placed 110th among the 155 parties that campaigned during the midterm elections.
Meanwhile, Diwata was swarmed by netizens who made fun of him after losing the elections, and the internet celebrity didn’t take the criticism lightly.
It can be recalled that the Vendor’s party list was subjected to controversy as its first nominee, Marilou Laurio Lipana, was not a vendor, but a contractor, which became the basis for the disqualification filed by Kontra Daya against the group.
Meanwhile, Diwata called the accusations unfair.
