A man was shot and killed by his friend and drinking buddy during a heated incident in Passi City, Iloilo, according to a report aired Wednesday on Super Radyo dzBB by Sevein Hope Gegantoca of Super Radyo Iloilo.

The fatal shooting occurred in a hut owned by the suspect in Barangay Aglalana, where the two had been drinking. According to initial investigations, the suspect became enraged after the victim made a sarcastic remark about the absence of food or “pulutan” during their drinking session.

The victim allegedly escalated the tension by breaking a glass.
