Political Vlogger Darwin Salceda, also known as ‘Boss Dada,’ wanted to be the volunteer substitute for acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte in his upcoming boxing match against Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief P/Gen Nicolas Torre III.

In a Facebook post, Boss Dada publicly challenged Torre to fight him instead of the Vice Mayor.

“General, where na you, ready na me! Substitute Pareng Baste!” he said.

It can be recalled that General Torre accepted the fistfight challenge of Vice Mayor Duterte on the condition that a charity boxing match would be held at Rizal Memorial Stadium on Sunday.

However, Duterte said that he would only accept the challenge if Torre could convince President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to undergo a hair follicle test together with all other public officials.

“If you’re really serious about this… Then let me lay my own conditions. Pakiusapan mo ‘yang amo mo na Presidente, and let it come out of his mouth that all elected officials should undergo a hair follicle test,” said Duterte.

However, some netizens believed that Duterte was only making alibis to avoid facing Torre in a public match.
